Jack and I decided to drive up Angeles Crest Highway today and spend the day in the mountains. I’ve had a really great weekend hanging out with a bunch of friends and this was the perfect way to end it. I love getting away from the city sometimes to clear my head and reflect on things. We are all just little puzzle pieces in this world and there’s nothing more humbling than being surrounded by tall mountains and deep valleys. As John Muir said: “…once in a while, climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.”
